‘BULGARIA IN MY DREAMS’ - Victoria Koleva, 8 years old

25th anniversary edition of the Children's and youth literary competition "Stefan Gechev" of the State Agency for Bulgarians Abroad

  • 'THE BULGARIANS - UNITED AND DIGNIFIED' - Daniel Dimov, 8 years

One day Grandpa Ivan was walking in the village. He saw one
beggar and stopped to talk. Grandpa Ivan knew everyone in
the village, but had never met this man. He was a lot
curious to know where and why he came to the village. The beggar looked very tired and Grandpa Ivan invited him to his house to
rest. When they arrived at the house, the beggar told him that he was
Vassil Levski and came to the village to found a revolutionary
committee. Grandpa Ivan was very happy. He offered his house
to become a secret place for the committee. He could also help with
finding people.
In this way he could make his dream come true and help Bulgaria.

CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES

The mission of our school and our values guide our philanthropic initiatives. Every year, our school raises and donates funds to charities in Bulgaria – supporting orphanages, providing resources to schools, and, when needed, helping disaster relief initiatives. Even though we are not able to raise a lot of money, the students and the parents are enthusiastic about it and learn a lot about people in need in Bulgaria and other places.
