With a huge and heartfelt gratitude to the community of the Bulgarian School in Boston and Cape Cod we announce that with joint efforts the two branches of the school collected 1,140 USD. The full amount will be transferred to the foundation's account in Bulgaria.
The campaign began with the creation of a page on the school website, which informs our community about the causes and needs of Karin Dom. The school administration spread the word to parents, teachers, friends and supporters of the school, inviting everyone to get involved with direct donations. Students, teachers, assistant teachers and parents all participated by creating items for sale at our Christmas celebrations in both branches: Christmas cards, decorations, cookies.
During the opening address at the Christmas concert at the Boston branch, the president of the school, Rosen Dimitrov, made an additional appeal, directing the attention of the guests to the donation box and talked about the social commitment of our community.
At the Cape Cod branch of the school, the fundraiser included winter crafts, sweets and donated items.
Thank you to everyone who took part in the school's Christmas campaign with effort and time! Thank you to all donors! Once again, a noble cause united us in our efforts for a better world for our children, a world in which there is empathy, responsibility and hope.
We wish you a merry, bright and warm Christmas and a happy New Year!!
